Art and storytelling have been an integral part of my life and over time my love of photography and animation led me straight to film. As a director, I started off working on small animated shorts and slowly honed my skills through work on various experimental projects and commercials. However, working with actors and a dedicated team of professionals has been the most satisfying part of my career to date.

Over the years I have trained with various writing tutors including Bobette Buster and David Howard (USC) to better improve my understanding of narrative structures as well as directors such as Laurence Moody on working with actors and mise-en-scene. My work has been screened at a number of festivals including the Valletta Film Festival, the Tangier Mediterranean Film Festival, the Chicago European Film Festival and others and has received awards from the Malta International Short Film Festival and the World Intellectual Property Organisation.

Andreas Sheittanis
Cyprus

Andreas Sheittanis was born in Cyprus in 1991. He studied Film Production & Cinematography at Bournemouth University. He directed six short-films so far. He currently works as a Director and Scriptwriter on a TV series in Cyprus.

Marios Yiangou
Cyprus

Marios Yiangou works as a graphic designer for an offshore company in Cyprus. He’s
been writing for more than 15 years, from poetry to prose to comic book scripts, although never professionally. An avid reader of history and mythology, he tries to incorporate elements from both in all his writing, along with noir, fantasy and horror themes. He fancies himself a cinephile and a huge comic book geek.

He is one of the co-founders of Arcanum Comics and along with the other founders is currently working on Dæmonium, a horror comic book series based in Cyprus. His major influences are Hunter S. Thompson, Charles Bukowski, Tom Wolfe, Nick Cave, Alan Moore, Neil Gaiman and Quentin Tarantino.

Carina Rosanna Tautu

Carina Rosanna Tautu is an award-winning film director and screenwriter now living in Los Angeles. Born behind the Iron Curtain in Romania, she loves both fiction and documentaries.
